Smart Door Locks: Features, Types and Installation

A digital door lock typically offers fingerprint, PIN, RFID card and app unlock, and it locks itself after the door closes. Some also send an alert when the door opens.

The door thickness, the lock body and the Wi-Fi at the entrance decide which model fits. A video door phone next to it lets you see who is outside before you open.
